Looking forward to 2021

“Kindness is like snow. It beautifies everything it covers.” Kahlil Gibran

I have to admit, it’s nice to see the light at the end of the tunnel that was 2020. It has been a year that suffers no shortage of adjectives, and to say it progressed rather differently from what any of us expected last December would be an understatement. Still, as my first year with LifeWork comes to an end, there is much to be thankful for – and much to anticipate.

Our network is expanding as we continue reaching out to Triangle-area businesses, nonprofits and community organizations. We’ve had some great conversations that have helped refine our offering. Above all, it has been rewarding to hear many of you express support for our cause: helping late-career professionals extend both their work life and their life’s work by transitioning into the nonprofit and community sectors. Looking forward to 2021, I’m hopeful we’ll soon have the opportunity to meet (Zoom-free) and catch up.

Finally – and most importantly – please accept my very best wishes to you and those you love for a safe and joyful Holiday Season and a wonderful New Year!
